This Riding Stable is a lovely 33 piece starter set in its own wooden storage tray. The blocks made from solid alder wood and are colour dipped with non-toxic water based paints in harmonious shades. The set comes with 2 horses, 3 riders and 3 jumping fences to offer lots of imaginative play opportunities.

The figures are smaller than traditional Ostheimer figures (the male rider is around 7.5 cm)

Hand Painted Horses and Foals - News designs for 2008

All horses (except Hafling Foal) come complete with leather reins for the riders to use - The pony is designed to fit the girl rider.

This flying dove (Ostheimer call it a pigeon in their catalogue but we think that's just a 'lost in translation' moment) works really well with the Ark sets - it actually has a hole in the beak for a twig or leaf!

We sell our ark with one dove but you could aways add its partner.

These are the new size chickens from Ostheimer which are scaled to fit better with the other farm animals. Nicely painted and very colourful. 55mm tall
