Mail order businesses tend to be greener than most shopping trips. Our delivery services (Royal Mail and DHL) will carry many shoppers parcels using less diesel than all of those cars going to the local shopping centre!
As part of our commitment to the environment, Laughing Bear is working to reduce the quantity of packaging material we use and to encourage reuse of packaging wherever possible.
This means that sometimes your parcels may arrive in (clean) boxes we have received from our suppliers. The cardboard can be then be recycled in any green "compost" bin (tip mix it in with your lawn clippings to stop the grass going smelly and slimy) or can be recycled at your local recycling centre
Also some of our suppliers use "packaged air" bubbles in our cartons and rather than throw them away after just one trip we use them again to send goods to you. If you can think of any other ways to use these please let us know as we've got a huge pile!!!!
